THREE ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH FEBRUARY 16TH HOMICIDE AT QUIK STOP MARKET IN SALIDA
April 12, 2007

MODESTO, CA - A two month multi-agency investigation lead to the arrest of two men and a juvenile in connection with the robbery and homicide that killed Randeep Singh at the Quik Stop Market in Salida on February 16, 2007.  Detectives arrested David Gonzalez and Ronnie Cavazos both of Modesto and a 15 year-old juvenile from Ceres late this afternoon.

Investigators from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, Modesto Police, Ceres Police, the District Attorneys Office and F.B.I. have been working together for the past two months on this case.  Investigators have been developing leads that resulted in the arrest of the three suspects.

Both Gonzalez and Cavazos are booked into the Stanislaus County Jail for murder, robbery, and gang enhancement charges.  The 15-year old was booked into Juvenile Hall with same charges.
