TURLOCK, CA - A nine-month investigation by several law enforcement agencies has lead to the arrest of multiple suspects, seizure of $840,000 in cash and several pounds of methamphetamine. The investigation began in October of last year when the Stanislaus Drug Taskforce, which includes local, state, and federal agencies, received a tip about a drug distribution network operating in Southern Stanislaus and Northern Merced counties. During the investigation several suspects were identified. On March 11, 2009 investigators arrested:

AYALA, Alfredo 06/11/1978 Turlock
During the March 11 arrest is when investigators located and seized $700,000 in cash and 3 pounds of meth. The investigation continued and culminated into multi-agency, multi-jurisdiction operation that took place today in both Stanislaus and Merced counties. During today’s operation, 8 search warrants were served and so far 9 people have been arrested. Ten weapons were also seized, two stolen weapons were recovered, and a hand-grenade was discovered.
