PRESS RELEASE For Immediate Release REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT ON OFF-HIGHWAY PARK GRANT March 13, 2009 |

MODESTO, CA - The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department Special Vehicle Operations Unit is applying for grants with the California State Parks Department, Off- Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division (OHV). OHV grant funding, if approved, will be used for law enforcement, search & rescue, public education, operation and maintenance, and restoration at both the Frank Raines Off-Highway Park (west of the City of Patterson) and the LaGrange Off-Highway Park (south of LaGrange). As part of the grant requirement public comments about the grant applications are solicited. All comments must be received by Monday, April 6, 2009.
