RIVERBANK, CA - Shortly before 4:00 PM Riverbank police deputies responded to the 6000 block of Arcaro Drive for a reported disturbance. As deputies arrived on scene, they contacted a male subject in front of the house where the disturbance was occurring. The subject was detained as deputies continued to investigate the disturbance.
As deputies went inside the house, they found 4 adult victims, two females and two males. Two of the victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. The other two victims were transported to local hospitals. One of the victims who was transported to the hospital died upon arrival at the hospital. The second victim who was transported is in stable condition. Detectives are not releasing what type of injuries the victims had or how they received them.
Detectives are investigating at the subject who was detained as a suspect in this case. Detectives will remain on scene for several more hours as they continue their investigation.
