PRESS RELEASE For Immediate Release SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT TO DELIVER FOOD AND TOYS TO FAMILIES December 22, 2008 |

MODESTO, CA - Members of the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department with the help of the California Highway Patrol, and the Turlock Rural Fire Department will deliver food and toys to 42 families throughout Stanislaus County tomorrow. The Sheriff’s Department Employee Foundation came up with the idea of adopting families who might need a little extra holiday cheer. Over the past month, employees with the Sheriff’s Department have been colleting clothes and toys. The Modesto office of the California Highway Patrol also donated a large van full of toys. “This is just a way for us to give a little back to the community this year,” said Sheriff’s Employee Foundation President Kristi Ah You. |
