SHERIFF'S DETECTIVES ARREST 44 YEAR OLD MAN FOR COMMITTING LEWD ACTS WITH TEENAGER
January 3, 2008
Ceres, CA- Sheriff’s Detectives arrested William Irving Jr. this morning after serving a search warrant at his home in the 3600 block of Tamarack Ave in Ceres.  Detectives said that Irving had been befriending teenaged males in his neighborhood before committing the sexual acts with them.

The arrest came after a 13 year old male reported to his counselor that Irving forced him to commit a sexual act.  The victim said that Irving invited teenaged males to his home, gave them marijuana, alcohol, and meth, and watched pornographic movies with them.  During one occasion, Irving forced the victim to orally copulate the suspect.  Irving then threatened to kill the victim and his family if the incident was reported to the police.

After investigating the incident, Sheriff’s Detectives obtained an arrest and search warrant for Irving.  During the search of Irving's home, dozens of legal pornographic movies and small amount of drugs were found.  A hand grenade was also found, but was later determined to be inactive by the Sheriff’s Bomb Team.  Irving was arrested and booked for 2 counts of providing drugs to a minor, 2 counts of providing pornography to a minor, 1 count of oral copulation with a minor, and 1 count of criminal threats of violence.  Detectives believe that there are more victims out there.
