The Crowslanding Substation was opened January 6th, 1998. Donations from local merchants, businesses, and the Crowslanding Lion's Club help furnish the substation with much needed equipment. The opening of this Substation is a result of the partnership between the Sheriff's Office and the community of Crowslanding. The Substation has been staffed by Sheriff's Office STARS since its opening. The STARS volunteers put in hours whenever possible and have been key to the success of the program.

The Crowslanding Substation is staffed by a Deputy Sheriff who is committed to serving the local community and surrounding area for a minimum of two years.  The two year assignment allows the community deputy the time to develop close contacts and relationships with the community which improves the overall effectiveness of our community policing efforts.
