On
July 1, 1998, the City of Waterford contracted with the
Sheriff s Department for law enforcement services. As of
that date, Waterford Police Department became Waterford
Police Services. Even though there is a new name, the
Department Motto, "Service with Respect"
continues. The Department is dedicated to provide the highest level of public service with a commitment to provide a high visibility of patrol service, increased narcotic enforcement and the targeting of known criminal offenders. With continued partnership with the citizens of the community, Waterford Police Services has committed itself to the highest standards of professional excellence to fulfill its goals of reducing crime and making the City of Waterford a safer place to work and live. |
