Lieutenant
Tim Beck began his full-time career in law enforcement in 1984 with the
Escalon Police Department. He
was hired by the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department in 1988. He worked as a Patrol Deputy, Background Investigator,
Academy Recruit Training Officer, Gang Detective and Crimes Against
Children Detective. Tim was
promoted to Sergeant in 1997. As
a Sergeant, he was assigned to the following units; Patrol, Crimes Against
Persons, Court Services and Training and Riverbank Police Services.
After being promoted to
Lieutenant in 2005 he was assigned as Patrol Watch Commander and
also served as the Administrative Lieutenant.
Lieutenant Tim Beck attended Modesto Jr. College and is currently
enrolled with Union Institute University, Sacramento working to earn his
bachelor’s degree. |

RIVERBANK POLICE SERVICES |
|
| Law enforcement services for the City of Riverbank are performed under contract with the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department. Patrol, general investigations, traffic enforcement, crime prevention and business office functions are performed by personnel assigned to Riverbank Police Services. A wide array of services are also provided by specialized units operating from the Sheriffs Operations Center on Hackett Rd. in Modesto; these services include the investigation of felony assaults, crimes against children, fraud, narcotics, gang and street crimes, along with specialized crime prevention and youth services programs. | |
