HONOR FARM - Visitation

Inmates are encouraged to maintain relationships with family and friends. Visiting is scheduled on a regular basis, limited only by the physical and personnel constraints of the Stanislaus County Adult Detention Facilities. All visitors must be dressed in appropriate clothing, including foot wear. No revealing clothing allowed. Visitors will be required to pass a security screening and may be subject to a physical search. An inmate may refuse to see any visitor. In addition to regular visit rules, the following must also be followed. There will be no prolonged physical contact made between an inmate and a family member. An inmate may kiss a family member upon arrival and departure. Inmates may receive daily visits from their attorney or legal counsel as necessary. There are no restrictions as to the number of attorney visits they may have or their duration, with exception of the established visiting hours or during a declared emergency. |

Regular visiting will be held on
Saturday and Sunday. Visiting Hours have changed effective: September 1,2007. Un-Sentenced visits (Barracks 4) * Visitors must be here prior to 7:45 a.m. to sign up. A - Z 0800-0830 Saturday & Sunday Sentenced (Barracks 1, 2 & 3) *sign up for visits are 15 minutes prior to the visiting time SAT. A-B 0900-1000C-E 1200-1300F-H 1330-1430I-L 1500-1600

All fields on the Visitor Request Form must be
complete and legible. If all fields are not complete and legible the
receiving deputy will not accept the visit form. The receiving deputy will
submit the completed visit request form to the visit clerk for review. The visitor approval clerk will review all requests for approval and return a copy of the visitor approval form notifying the inmate which visitors are approved or disapproved to visit. Under most circumstances, visit request forms will be reviewed by the visit clerk within 24 hours, but no later that 72 hours, from the time of submission. Regular Visit - A visit between an inmate and family members, friends, and associates. Contact Visit - communications in a supervised area.- A visit between an inmate and immediate family members which permits informal visitation. Official Visit - with attorney or other officials, i.e., law enforcement agents, Parole / Probation agents, psychiatrists, physicians, clergy, etc.- A contact or a non-contact visit, depending on the circumstances, between the inmate and the visitor. Court Ordered Visit - All court orders for inmate visits are to be referred to the Facility Commander for review.- A special visit for an inmate requested by a Judge of the Municipal or Superior Court Judge. Special Visit - with their family members, friends, and associates who have traveled a long distance and / or are unable to visit during regularly scheduled visiting hours.- A contact or non-contact visit, depending on the circumstances, between an inmate and their visitor. Rules for Visiting - Regulations regarding visiting for inmates and visitors which are enforced by Adult Detention Facility personnel. The rules are posted in the Adult Detention Facilities visiting sign-in areas and housing areas. |
