SUE HARPER
Records Manager

Sue Harper was born and raised in Susanville, CA.  She began her law enforcement career at Oakdale Police Department in 1974 as a 9-1-1 dispatcher. She was then hired by Turlock Police Department in 1977 and worked as the lead trainer coordinator for the 911 center for many years. She retired in October 2005 after serving 31 years for Oakdale and Turlock.

She was then hired by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office on October 30, 2006 as the new civilian Records Manager.

As the civilian Records Manager, Sue is responsible for of all Legal Clerks assigned to the Sheriff’s Office. Her assignment includes budgeting, procurement, planning, and personnel assignment, along with statistical reporting to the State of California. She can be reached directly by calling 209 525 7154.

The Sheriff’s Office provides a variety of records retrieval, copying of Crime/Incident Reports, Criminal Records Checks, Live Scan Fingerprint Services, Gun Permits, Megan's Law Computer Access, and so on.
