Brent Thayne graduated from Utah State University and served as a Management Analyst for the Department of Defense for several years. He first came to the Sheriff’s Department in 1989 as the Crime Analyst before moving to Behavioral Health in 1993. Following this move, he served as a Systems and Programmer Analyst for San Joaquin County Behavioral Health, a Senior Systems Analyst for the Stockton Unified School District and was the CALTRANS District 10 Information Technology Manager from 2001 to 2006. He holds a BS Degree from Utah State University as well as a Master of Public Administration Degree from California State University Stanislaus. He also holds multiple industry certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Network + and Microsoft Office Specialist. |
