The AVOID The 12 - DUI Enforcement Project will enable Stanislaus County law enforcement agencies to continue with their combined efforts to combat Drunk Drivers and raise the awareness of the general public regarding the problem associated with drinking and driving. DUI strike teams will target specific holiday periods through concentrated enforcement and publicity campaigns.
The holiday periods to be included are Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Stanislaus County Fair, and Labor Day. The goal of this project is to reduce related alcohol injuries and death within Stanislaus County.
